Hillary has been riding and showing horses since she was a child.  While growing up in 4-H and then continuing on as an adult, she has shown Arabians, Quarter Horses, Gaited and Draft Horses in a variety of disciplines. Her commitment and dedication has allowed her to excel in all areas.  

Living in Northeast Ohio, she has been fortunate to be surrounded by many top level Arabian training and breeding operations. While apprenticing with these facilities over 10 years, she has spent the majority of her time working and learning about what it takes to become an elite trainer. Hillary currently operates her own facility which allows for training, sales and the competitive showing of horses throughout the United States. She is also an Ohio 4-H Judge, an Open Horse Show Judge and is currently enrolled in the process to become a licensed Arabian Judge.

Hillary is also a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Conflict Management.  Her area of study has helped her grow her business while maintaining long term relationships with satisfied clients. Experience in addition to education has enabled her to be successful while negotiating horse sales in a fair manner, managing clients best interests, and enabling riders to perform to their highest ability. This personal approach along with countless hours of hard work has allowed Imperial Equestrian to grow into a top notch show facility.

R I D I N G L E S S O N S

Our lesson program is designed to fit the needs of each individual rider. Whether it is their first time riding a horse or they are looking to continue to grow in the saddle, we assess experience, skill level and individual goals to create custom lesson plans.

Students will learn the rich history of the Arabian breed, experience their majestic and unique qualities, and create a bond and relationships to last a lifetime! The opportunity is endless for anyone with genuine interest, willingness to learn and passion within!

Students will receive educational horsemanship information, along with activities and coloring pages provided by the Arabian Horse Association. Students will also receive a quarterly subscription to Envision, an Arabian Horse magazine dedicated to sharing the beauty, versatility and companionship of the breed.

P E R F O R M A N C E T R A I N I N G

Our services are tailored to the individual horse and rider upon our initial evaluation. Whether the horse is being started under saddle, a horse and rider team are planning to hit the show ring, or the horse is to be marketed and sold, we understand no horse is one in the same and each rider is unique in his or her own way. We take pride in getting to know each horse and rider in order to provide the best and most genuine service possible.
